COINCIDING WITH World Water Day which was celebrated on Wednesday 22 March, Aqualia launched a new edition of its annual children’s digital competition.
This year’s competition, ‘Mission Purification’ aims to create awareness about the water cycle – from when the water is used in our homes until it is returned to the environment. Aqualia wants to educate children in a fun, interactive way about how wastewater can be reused for various purposes through use of the animated characters ‘Hero Hydrokid’ and ‘Superaqua’.
The deadline for submission of entries runs from March 22 to May 23.
Prizes up for grabs include 10 Samsung Tablet 7 “s, one for each of the 10 winners. 250 underwater cameras for finalists and for the winning school collectively, a gift card to the value of 1,000€ for educational materials. Winners will be announced through the Aqualia website, at all Aqualia offices and on Twitter @FCCAqualia.
