Expo Torrevieja delights the thousands

LAST weekend the City of Salt was blessed both with great weather and a lifestyle fair at the picturesque Salones Bahia Costa in La Mata, Torrevieja. Around six thousand people visited the seventy plus exhibitors to find out more about enhancing their quality of life while visiting or living on the Costas.

The expo was the brainchild of Keith, Kjetil and Artuo and attracted mainly Scandinavian exhibitors, along with those from around Spain and even The Claims Bureau who flew in specially for the show from the UK.

The region has been without a top notch Lifestyle Fair since the demise of the This Is Spain shows and the first new expo is always done with a little trepidation due to the costs involved and making sure that a good crowd enjoyed the show.

But with around six thousand visitors spread over two five hour periods, it attracted a good crowd who discovered a wide array of products and services ranging from Private Hospitals, Insurance, Real Estate, Property Rentals, Gifts, Clothing, Arts and Crafts, Internet and Television, Wine, Gastronomy, Printing, Creative Arts, Energy Savings with 100% solar energy without the need to put solar panels on your house and a whole lot more.

The organisers wished to thank the exhibitors and all the visitors for their support, and are already planning another major exhibition for November and smaller more focused fairs over the next few months, which will include a property show plus a Health, Wealth and Lifestyle show, to name but two.

The Town Hall were on hand with their Tourist Department to hand out information about where to go and what to do in the City, Live and Enjoy Torrevieja with a choice of different tours for groups, clubs and associations and Apymeco; the Small and Medium Business Association, giving out their free discount cards and information on free parking in Torrevieja.
