THIS WEEKEND kids in Santa Pola have the chance to attend a fantastic fun day out whilst helping to raise money towards important research into a rare disease.
On Saturday March 26th the charity AMPA Hispanidad are holding their 4th Supporters day which aims to raise money for the rare genetic disease 22Q which is particularly prevalent in children,
The fun kicks off at 11am and takes place in Glorieta Square. Amongst the activities on offer for children to enjoy are clay modelling, macaroni necklace making, colouring, face painting and workshops. The organisers are also holding a treasure hunt with prizes for the winners.
There will also be a supportive street market selling toys and other items, with all proceeds going directly to the 22Q Levante research fund.
Children are also asked to bring along toiletries and personal hygiene products, which will be donated to the Cruz Roja for distribution to local needy youngsters.
