Spend the afternoon at Casa Santonja with Make A Smile

CASA SANTONJA is a beautiful 19th century building in Beniarbeig, catalogued among the ‘55 most illustrious buildings’ in the province of Alicante.

Its lush gardens with centuries-old trees extend over an area of 20,000 square meters.

Casa Santonja rarely open their gardens to the general public but has made a special exception in aid of Make A Smile.

On Sunday April 9 between 12.00pm and 4.00pm, everyone is welcomed to enjoy the stunning gardens in an afternoon with Make A Smile. There will homemade cream teas, a hog roast and a bar along with over 40 gift stalls to browse and a children’s play area.

For the past few years, local children’s homes have been seriously short of funds for even the most basic needs. Make A Smile work with the community in raising funds and using these to supply a balanced diet and daily needs for 50 children in the Emaus group and a home with 24 mentally handicapped youngsters.

Entry is 1€ and in return you will receive a glass of cava and a delicious canape on arrival.

Casa Santonja is situated only five minutes from Ondara shopping centre, in Beniarbeig (there will be signposts).
