U3A Javea in Valencia

0

THE U3A Javea’s Travel Group co-ordinator Joni Hills recently organised a coach trip to Valencia, which saw around 50 members go behind the scenes of the El Palau De Les Arts opera house and performing arts centre.

The party enjoyed a guided tour inside the building which is dedicated to music and the scenic arts and surrounded by 87,000 square metres of landscape and water as well as 10,000 square metres of walking area.

They visited the four sections of the complex – the main hall, the master hall, the auditorium and The Martin y Soler Theatre, which plays host to many opera, theatre and music events.
Afterwards, some of the group visited the nearby open-air Oceanografic, whilst other members chose to go sightseeing, shopping or walking before heading back by coach to Javea.
