Torrevieja unemployment stable during February

By Keith Nicol

THE month of February ended with 8,719 unemployed in Torrevieja; 0.10% less than in January,  which ended with 8,728 people, without work, according to Servef data.

The fall in unemployment, which is insignificant, is through employment in the services sector, which registered a fall of 0.16%, but was hurt by the construction sector, that registered a slight increase of 0.42%.

The figures improve in all age groups, except for those under 26 years of age.
