TORREVIEJA’S Small and Medium Business Association APYMECO introduced their new Shopping Discount card at Expo Torrevieja last weekend. Promoted with street maps and a new app, more than 130 local shops offer a range of discounts from 5% to 20% off their products with the presentation of their free card.

It’s been launched just in time for their latest campaign to celebrate Father’s Day this weekend, with even more special offers with dad in mind.

Along with the new discount card is a new website: www.torreviejashoppingroutes.com that also has the download option for the app. This month Apymeco say that they have started a new commercial and tourism journey through their project Torrevieja Shopping and Tourism Routes. Their focus now to communicate as much relevant information as possible about businesses and professionals, tourism, events, promotions, marketing campaigns, sweepstakes, discounts, etc. all in one place. Coming soon will be a weekly newsletter which you can sign up for.

Their Father’s Day – San José promotion started on Wednesday continues through Saturday 18 March. Keep your eyes peeled and be on the lookout for the arch villain from Star Wars, the one and only Darth Vader, who will be doing the rounds and visiting the shops of Torrevieja. There is also the opportunity to win prizes during this weekend, in all the shops this weekend. The Father’s Day event is organized by Department of Commerce Ayto. Torrevieja with the collaboration from Apymeco, Casagrande Polygon Association, Merchants Association District Zoa Km.1, Acolam and merchants Association Barrio Acequión.

The website allows you to quickly find your way around Torrevieja. It features a ‘Wellness, Route’, Fashion Route, Professional Services Route and Home Route, for furnishing, home improvements, etc. The new Shopping Card is presently in Paper form and expires on March 31st, At that time the new Plastic, Credit Card style discount cards will be ready along with expanded offers and selection. And don’t worry girls: it may be Father’s Day this weekend but there are lots of discounts on offer for shopping and services for you too.
