Moraira maintenance works completed

THE MUNICIPALITY plots at the el Pinaret de la Costa site in Moraira were recently cleared in order to prevent the possibility of fires and protect the nesting birds.

The branches of the older pine trees were cut back and the shoots of the younger trees and various vegetation was removed.

Towards the secondary school site, a much larger area has been completely cleared to ensure a safe, secure environment for the children.

Presenting the completed works, Councillor Nieves Rodriguez explained that the council plans to continue in its creation green zones and leisure areas to offer residents a better quality of life.

It is planned to further improve and develop this green zone and create a place where residents can enjoy leisure activities and relax close to the old town.
