New Social Services van in Benissa

THE CITY Council of Benissa recently purchased a new van to be used by the Social Services.

The van – which cost just over €32,000 – is fully adapted with technologies such as an automatic ramp to transport the elderly, those with special needs, disabilities and other impairments.

Councillor Juan Manuel explained it was ‘very necessary to change the vehicle because its predecessor was very old. The new vehicle will enable the Social Services to provide the best service to users, both in efficiency and comfort.’

Any member of the public wishing to make use of this free service should contact Luis Crespo on 608 012 347 between 7.00am – 3.00pm Monday to Friday.
