HOLLYWOOD ‘A’ lister, Julia Roberts took time out from her busy career, for a family visit to the Bernabau Stadium, home to Real Madrid, to watch the ‘El Clasico’ derby against Barcelona last Sunday.

Real Madrid TV released photos of the Pretty Woman actress meeting the players behind the scenes after the exciting match, which saw the home team slip to a 2-3 defeat after an injury time winner from Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

The Hollywood star and mother-of-three, aged 49, was snapped with Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Modric, manager Zinedine Zidane, Lucas Vázquez and Álvaro Morata.

She also met Real Madrid chairman, Florentino Pérez who gave her a club shirt with her name and the number one on the back.

Known to be a huge and knowledgeable football fan, the actress had gone to the premier league derby with her three children, Hazel Patricia, Henry, and Phinnaeus, who all play the sport regularly and her husband of 15 years, film cameraman Daniel Moder.

It’s not clear whether Ms Roberts performed her famous ’whoop whoop’ routine from the Pretty Woman movie during the game, but when Cristiano Ronaldo entered the room, she was heard to whisper breathlessly, “My heart is beating really fast. This is incredible!”

The star even found time to snap some selfies with players from both sides including match winner Messi, who had scored his 500th goal for Barcelona earlier in the evening.

“As well as a great win, I also got to meet my favourite actress,” said the Argentinian superstar after the meeting with his idol.
