Teulada Moraira councillor meets President of Spain


FURTHER TO to her meeting with the Vice-Consul in Alicante some two weeks ago, Teulada Moraira councillor (international resident relations) Laura Hillstead met with and presented the ‘MOTION REGARDING THE NECESSITY OF A BILATERAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN SPAIN AND GREAT BRITAIN GIVEN GREAT BRITAIN´S EXIT FROM THE EUROPEAN UNION (BREXIT)’ to President of Spain, Mariano Rajoy last week.

The motion aims at safeguarding the rights and obligations of British nationals in Spain and Spanish nationals in UK post-Brexit.

Ms Hillstead was touched to be introduced to the President by Pepe Ciscar as the ‘British Councillor of Teulada’ and discussed with the President the importance of defending the rights of the people.
