BUDDING WILDLIFE photographers have the chance to train their lenses at some truly wild beasts and could even win a €700 prize for their efforts next month.
The First Maraton Fotografico de Terra Natura is to be held at the Terra Natura Nature park in Espinardo, Murcia on Saturday May 6.
The nature park, celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, will open solely for camera enthusiasts for a couple of hours on that morning to allow photographers to get closer to the animals than they would normally be able to.
If you’ve always dreamed of catching that perfect shot of lions, tigers, giraffes, elephants and other wild beasts in their natural habitat, this is will be an amazing opportunity and you don’t need a flight to Africa to do it.
On the day, the doors will open to the registered photographers between 10.00am and 10.20am and then close to the public until the photography marathon ends at midday.
Photographs taken that morning can be entered into a prize competition to win €700. The categories for photos will be announced that morning.
Price of entry for adults is €9 and children enter for free. For full details on how to register, visit the event’s website at http://maraton-fotografico.laverdad.es/terra-natura-murcia/2017/
