APASA animal shelter Spring Fair in Javea

APASA WILL hold their much anticipated Spring Fair this weekend at their shelter in Javea.

Taking place on Saturday May 6 from 1.00pm, guests can browse the wide range of stalls and relax with a bap from the BBQ and a beer in hand.

APASA was founded in 1999 by a group of various nationalities, Spanish, English, German and Swiss, with the aim of rescuing those animals that were evidently abandoned, ill-treated or lost. Initially there were just a dozen dogs, now there are over 250, needing full time staff.

APASA rely greatly on volunteers, working in the shelter, walking dogs and at their many fund-raising events. All proceeds raised at the Spring Fair will directly fund the goal of making the lives of the dogs better and provide essential care for them.
