Coming clean in Fuengirola

EL PUERTO Sports Society has brought together a group of volunteers to clean Fuengirola’s port.

The day, which was supported by the town’s council, saw locals giving the port a good scrub with the aim of “promoting it and trying to make society aware that we cannot continue to dirty it”, according to a representative from El Puerto Sports Society, Rafael Lebron.

He added that waste in the port, “gets onto our beaches and ruins marine life”, before thanking the council for its support of the scheme.
