Drug trafficker nabbed

LOCAL POLICE in Fuengirola have detained a 29-year-old illegal street vendor from Senegal for selling drugs on the town’s promenade.

The man was collared as he sold marihuana to a Norwegian national; both were arrested.

The dealer was found to have 61.12 grams of marijuana in 21 bags on him and was charged with drug trafficking, while the Norwegian was charged with possession.

Local Police Chief, Joaquin Rueda, explained, “this arrest is important in helping the Local Police show the relationship between the sale of counterfeit products and the narcotics trade.

This fact was brought to the attention of the Local Safety Board some time ago and this is not the first time we have made such an arrest.”
