This award for good practice has been shared with the other local police in the region and was presented along with the award to Pedro Javier Llinares at an annual award ceremony held last week in Valencia,.
Mayor of Finestrat, Juan Francisco Pérez, along with the Mayor of Security, David Alarcón, met head of Finestrat Local Police, Agustín Rubio, and Pedro Javier Llinares, to congratulate them for these recognitions.
“I would like to thank the National Union of Chiefs and Police Officers for these distinctions that come to recognise the good work of our police and especially the professionalism of Javier Llinares in an area as important for us as is safety in the mountains, especially considering we have a mountainous environment with peaks as emblematic as the Puig Campana, visited by thousands of people every year. “
