Football heroes charity match in Fuengirola

FORMER FOOTBALL players from Real Madrid, Malaga and Fuengirola are joining forces to raise money for children’s charities.

The veteran players will play a charity match at the Elola sports ground, Fuengirola on Friday, May 5, to raise money for charities Fuensocial, Avoi, Glucolatine and Angel Riviere.

Pedro Cuevas, the town’s Councillor for Sport, explained, “I want to appeal to all football fans in Fuengirola to meet on Friday from six in the afternoon to… get involved with this great cause.”

The event starts at 5 pm and tickets costing €10 for adults and €5 for children are on sale at the Mayor’s Office of Los Boliches, the council’s Department of Sports, House of Culture, and Estadio Suel.
