Going green

THE Andalusian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces has signed an agreement with the Andalusian Cluster of Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency (CLANER) to implement a series of measures making the Costa del Sol’s councils greener.

Proposed measures include using renewable energies, and increasing energy efficiency. The scheme will also see councils participate in national and international projects which provide funding and information on saving energy.

CLANER president Alfonso Vargas, explained councils play “an essential role” in “the transformation and modernisation of society”, concluding, “we are very satisfied by this collaboration agreement.”
