Half a million invested in road improvements

FUENGIROLA’S Council has launched a tender to find a company to carry out €547,000 of works to Calle Santa Catalina.

The works, which will be carried out over the summer so as not to inconvenience students at the road’s school, will include renewing underground cables and pipes, as well as re-asphalting its surface and replacing signage, lighting and street furniture.

The town’s Mayor, Ana Mula, explained, “we hope that many companies will apply. 34 companies applied for our last tender because we are a council which pays its bills quickly, which inspires confidence.”
