Javea receives marine preservation award


JAVEA ENVIRONMENTAL Mayor Doris Courcelles collected an award at an event at the Oceanografic, Valencia last week as the municipality was recognised for its marine preservation efforts by the Department of Agriculture, Environment, Climate Change and Rural Development.

Courcelles attended the event with municipal biologist where the latest scientific reports prepared by the Valencian universities and the Institute of Coastal Ecology were presented – focusing on the evolution of species in protected areas such as the Cap Marine Reserve of Sant Antoni.
