IN A survey commissioned by pro-age beauty brand Look Fabulous Forever, which creates make-up for mature skin, it was found that despite the torrent of beauty advice we get from experts and celebrities, it’s actually our mums we’re most likely to listen to in the beauty stakes.
In fact, 64 per cent of daughters say they trust their mother over anyone else when it comes to beauty tips.
A total of 500 18-49-year-old women were questioned for the survey, with the participants sharing the best things they’ve learnt from their mum.
Topping the list of the 10 best pieces of beauty advice is taking your make-up off before bed, which received an impressive 56 per cent of the vote.
At number two was remembering to moisturise your neck as well as your face, scoring 28 per cent, followed closely by always smile as you’ll automatically look more beautiful, with 26 per cent.
