New open-air auditorium in Fuengirola

FUENGIROLA has gained a new cultural attraction in the form of an open-air auditorium, called La Azotea, situated on top of the town hall.

The new space will host a series of free events, starting with a poetry evening, Vientos del Sur, on 23 May from 9.30pm and then a yoga workshop on 2 June.

The building aims to be one of several roof-top locations which will eventually be used to host cultural events, under further plans by the council.

La Azotea has space for 50 people, but limited accessibility as the building’s lift does not reach the rooftop and some stairs must be taken.
