Paint job at employment office

PAINT works to Mijas’ Employment Office are nearing completion, following a €10,000 investment.

The project, which involved sealing the building’s cracks before painting it, was considered a priority in improving the town’s image as it can be easily seen from the motorway.

Works had an expected execution period of one month. The town’s Councillor for Operational Services, Jose Carlos Martin, confirmed, “we have checked on the progress of the works which are going ahead at a good pace.  In a few days the building will be in the state we want it.”

The project is just one of around 200 being carried out by Mijas’ Council to improve the town’s image.  Mr Martin explained, “we have to offer a good image of our buildings. We wanted to carry out these works so that this much-used site is in the best condition.”
