Picasso comes home

A SURREALIST sculptor in Malaga has created a life-like figure of Pablo Picasso, installed in the city’s Alianza Francesa.

The sculptor, Eugenio Moreno, has depicted Picasso’s corpse, lying down on a tomb of Carrara marble, entitled, “Picasso Died Here.”

Moreno explains the piece provides visitors “a unique opportunity to have a selfie with Picasso.” It forms part of a larger exhibition of the artist’s life, which, ” will take the visitor from the birth of this genius to his death. From Spanish soil to French soil without moving city.”
