Sala Group to open first Mahiki celebrity venue in Spain


WHEN YOU think of celebrity haunts in London, one of the very first that comes to mind is Mahiki which has welcomed countless A-listers through its doors.

Now Marbella’s fastest growing hospitality group La Sala has come to an agreement to open Mahiki Beach by Sala on the Paseo Maritimo in Marbella and needs to recruit 150 staff to work in all areas from the kitchen to front of house.

This latest venture which is due to open towards the end of May will join the other Sala Group local venues: La Sala Banus, La Sala by the Sea, OAK Garden & Grill and the Aqwa Mist nightclub which between them already employ 200 people.

”We’re so excited for being chosen as the creators of the first Mahiki Beach in Spain. Our aim for Mahiki Marbella, is for this beach restaurant and lounge to be all about fun atmosphere and creative details that go into every drink, dance and dish that they will serve,” announced Sala Group’s Chairman Ian Radford.
