Teulada-Moraira improves cityscape

BARS AND restaurants in Teulada-Moraira will be required to move their terraces, should they not comply with the regulations guaranteeing footpath accessibility.

The municipality pushes forward in its mission to improve accessibility and quality of life for residents and visitors alike.

Bars and restaurants need to ensure a specific amount of space to allow fluent circulation not only for pedestrians but also for people in wheelchairs, those with pushchairs and larger groups of people.

Chairs and tables will have to be moved back if the footpath space is not consistent with the municipal regulations.

Councillor Raul Llobell explained that removing any such barriers will make Teulada-Moraira a safer place.
