Taekwondo exhibition on the Costa del Sol

AROUND 150 taekwondo enthusiasts from Marbella, San Pedro and Malaga are due to take part in an exhibition of the martial art on Saturday, May 6 in the Polideportivo Elenea Benitez.

The young fighters, who are coming from 14 schools in Malaga province, will be split into groups and have the option of getting involved in a fight or performing a Poomsae; a traditional Korean exercise that uses defence and attack movements against imaginary adversaries.

The event will run from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm and will see all participants receive a medal.
