CHOOSE SKIN-FRIENDLY FOOD
Omega-3-rich foods fight inflammation and strengthen the skin’s barrier, locking moisture in. Limit inflammation-triggering sweets (less than 25 grams of sugar a day) and alcohol (a drink a day or less); they sap moisture, enhancing fine lines and wrinkles.
Put in quality-time with your pillow
Don’t prioritise a pricey eye cream over old-fashioned slumber. Sleep-deprived women are at higher risk for fine lines, uneven pigmentation, and sagging skin. Sleep helps you recover faster from skin stressors like dryness and sun damage. Aim for seven to nine hours a night, on your back when possible (it keeps pressure off your face)
Upgrade your sunglasses
Pick shades with a label that says it blocks 100 percent of both UVA and UVB rays. These will help to prevent crow’s-feet around the eyes, not to mention damage to your retinas. Wear them rain or shine, since rays can penetrate clouds. If you’re out during peak sunny hours, double up on protection with a hat.
