Raising awareness of brittle bone disease

THE MAYOR’S Office in San Pedro has given its approval to a solidarity walk, raising awareness for brittle bone disease, on Saturday, May 6.

The event, which will see participants dress in yellow to support World Osteogenesis Imperfecta Day, will start at El Refugio de Juanar and end at the Mirador.

Those joining in can bring a yellow t-shirt from home or donate €10 and be provided with a t-shirt, bottle of water and snack.

The route will take in impressive scenery and is suitable for those of any fitness level.

Participants will be able to commemorate the day with a group photo at the event’s end.
