Malaga hotel worker injured in blast

A 32-YEAR-OLD hotel worker has suffered second-degree burns after a combustion burner he was handling exploded.

For reasons yet unknown, the tank blew up as he worked on it, spilling burning liquid down his left arm and torso.

National Police, firemen and the Public Sanitary Emergency Services quickly arrived at the scene and transferred the man to the Malaga Regional Hospital.

The man is said to be in a stable condition but has received “serious burns”, pain, redness, swelling and blisters to ten per cent of his body.
