THE opulent La Sala by the Sea beachside restaurant and nightspot welcomed the summer with the 10th White and Gold Party.
Several hundred guests and a number of celebrity footballers including Derby County midfielder George Thorne, newly promoted Brighton boss Chris Hughton with ex-Tottenham Hotspur stars David Bentley and Steven Carr were treated to an exciting and enjoyable evening in this glitzy yet tasteful venue by the beach in Nueva Andalucia.
Everyone took up the challenge of dressing in white and/or gold as they enjoyed La Sala’s selection of entertainment, including the Jackie Brown Band who delivered a string of high-octane funk and soul classics, as well as the mercurial Quike Navarro on violin interspersed with fire eaters, jugglers, acrobats and some very attractive dancers.
As everyone, including the directors and staff, recover from the evening, those who missed the excitement will be pleased to know that from today, the venue will open its doors at night. As the sun begins to sink over the sea, the restaurant will become a delightful Thai haven featuring La Sala’s gourmet cuisine in stunning surroundings.
