Benissa and Balearia come together

AN AGREEMENT was recently signed between the City Council of Benissa and the Balearia Foundation – to encourage and promote cultural exchanges involving artists in Benissa and the Balearic Islands.

Juan Manolo, Benissa’s Councillor for Culture and Ricard Perez, Manager of the Balearia Foundation, signed the agreement at the ceremony which was also attended by Abel Cardona, Mayor of Benissa.

The first to reap the benefits of the agreement will be young Benissan musician Ferran Navarro, who will play in concert in Ibiza in September – as the Manager of the Balearia Foundation announced the company will explore what they can offer in terms of reduced cost travel to the white isle.
