HOSPITAL DE Denia-MarinaSalud was recently awarded the Certificacion Nacional de la Unidad de Insuficiencia Cardiaca (National Certification of the Unit of Heart Failure) by the Spanish Society of Cardiology (SEC) within its SEC-Excellence programme.

The SEC-Excellence programme aims to improve the quality of care and assistance to patients with cardiovascular diseases, the ultimate goal being to improve their prognosis and quality of life.

Only 15 hospitals throughout Spain boast this distinction – from Hospital Gregorio Maranon in Madrid to Hospital del Mar in Barcelona.

Hospital de Denia-MarinaSalud is the only hospital in the Valencian Community to be awarded the certification.
