One Direction Liam Payne guests on Graham Norton show

ONE DIRECTION’S ex-band member Liam Payne was a guest on this week’s Graham Norton Show, although the interview itself was charming, sweet and actually very honest, the exclusive performance of his new single left us disappointed and a bit cheated.

Quote from a fan: “Bieber tribute act fail” meets “poor Justin Timberlake impersonation”. Something like that, yeah. If we could revert back time, and this would be Liam’s audition (kind of felt like an audition to be honest) on “The X Factor”, I would not tell him “yes” to move on to the next round.”

Liam also revealed he didn’t meet Cheryl’s dad until she was pregnant!

The former One Direction singer welcomed his first child, son Bear, with his 33-year-old girlfriend in March after more than a year of dating.

Sitting on the sofa alongside actress Salma Hayek and Britain’s Got Talent judge and comedian David Walliams, Liam also opened up about how he first got together with Cheryl.

The singer confirmed X Factor boss Simon Cowell had been instrumental in their romance, recalling: “I told him how hot I thought she was. Weeks and months went by and then Niall said, ‘You’ll never guess who fancies you!’
