Seven arrested as drug trafficking group bust

SEVEN DETAINEES arrested as suspects of a drug trafficking group were brought to justice in Murcia last week.

Throughout the course of the investigation, more than 50 officers of the National Police searched seven houses in Jose Maria Lapuerta, Los Dolores, Lo Campano and La Union, seizing more than three kilos of cocaine, several mobiles, tablets and a pistol stolen in 2006.

One of the detainees is awaiting trial as alleged perpetrator of a murder in Monte Calvario in 2015.

Two women were released on bail, one being pregnant and the other having three children.
