AWARD-WINNING French ventriloquist Marc Métral is spending two weeks at a brand new venue in Marbella entertaining appreciative audiences.
Marc has been a regular visitor to Spain, performing mainly in Barcelona and Madrid as well as on TV but this is his first ever visit to Marbella and says that he is looking forward to working in the open-air particularly in the current heat which is good for him and also his dog Wendy who plays an important part in his act.
Many readers will remember Marc and Miss Wendy the talking dog appear on Britain’s Got Talent in 2015, impressing the judges but causing some controversy over the possible ill-treatment of the little white dog which Marc denies completely and he was of course exonerated fully following an RSPCA investigation.
Wendy plays an important but small part in the entire show which sees Marc arguing with a naughty lion and a rude bird, using audience members as dummies and even exchanging conversation with a table napkin.
This talented entertainer who speaks seven languages and mixes them in during his performance has travelled the world amusing audiences everywhere but has to be back in Paris for July and August for two performances a night at the Moulin Rouge.
Teatro Marbella has been created in the site of the old Dreamers nightclub and is a new addition to the Puerto Banus scene with its open-air dinner theatre and a massive new night club area,
Marc and Wendy headline a dining experience under the stars which incorporates a multi-talented troupe of singers and dancers who perform as guests enjoy some exceptional food and drink.
