Summer camp sponsorship for EMAUS children

AFTER THE troubles faced by EMAUS over the last few years, a new organisation – ‘SALUT Y COMMUNITAT’ is taking over the EMAUS installations and those in their care.

The judge has ordered that SALUT Y COMMUNITAT will take over on June 30, once EMAUS has been officially declared bankrupt.

On July 1, the children of EMAUS will go to summer camp in August and after a two-week break, will return to their homes.

It costs €320 for each child to go to summer camp, and thanks to the organisation of Calpe Beacon, many people have generously sponsored a child, others have clubbed together and sponsored a child and others have made donations.
