Torrevieja summer course programme


THE UNIVERSITY Headquarters and the City Council of Torrevieja announced earlier this week the summer course programme ‘Rafael Altamira’ offered by the University of Alicante.

The announcement was attended by Mayor of Torrevieja – Jose Manuel Dolon, Director of the Secretariat of University Venues – Eva Valero and Coordinator of the Headquarters – Jose Norberto Mazon.

The University Headquarters of Torrevieja will offer four courses:
July 11 – July 13
‘Fusion and mestizaje: Spain and Cuba, amazing round trips’
July 4 – July 7
‘The Mar Menor: environmental collapse of an emblematic ecosystem at the international level’
July 18 – July 21
‘Project your personal brand: communication, social networks and personal data’
September 4 – September 8
‘Tourism planning – the new challenges of strategic planning in tourist destinations: a local application’

The City Council and the University of Alicante signed a collaboration agreement by which the municipality contributes €100,000 euros per year to the university institution for the organisation of academic activities.
