U3A Marina Baixa arts and crafts

LAST MONDAY, the U3A Marina Baixa held their Monthly General Meeting at the Casa de Cultura, Alfaz del Pi.

There were 145 members in attendance, including six new members and one guest.

However following this month’s meeting, there was no speaker, instead a display by the Members Craft Group, which included many handmade Birthday and Special Event cards was exhibited and also available to purchase.

There was also a selection of the watercolour groups work, which was superb.

The members then reconvened to enjoy a lovely meal at the Hogar del Pensionista Restaurant in Alfaz del Pi.

U3A Marina Baixa holds its general meetings on the fourth Monday of each month in the auditorium at the Casa de Cultura, Alfaz del Pi.

The next Meeting is on Monday May 24, the doors open at 10am and the desks close at 10.50am for a prompt 11.00h start, so please come early to sign in and get a seat.
