Benitachell Bowls Club trophy time

MIXED FORTUNES for the men and women’s BBC teams.

The Rose Bowl Trophy – BBC Ladies v Javea Green ladies

BBC ladies had a fantastic result at home, winning five out of the six rinks to bring the scores level, having lost by the same amount at Javea Green.

By virtue of having the highest shot difference, the BBC ladies took the extra two points needed for the overall win over the two-legged match.

Walton Trophy – BBC Men v Javea Green Men

The BBC Men playing the Walton Trophy, held a 12-4 lead over Javea Green going into the second leg, but had to concede a two point concession because of a reduced team number.

The second leg saw Javea Green take 10 points from the game levelling the overall scores and therefore winning the match on the higher shot difference.

Aussie Pairs

‘Rolling Bones’ enjoyed a 2 point win in the Fred Harris BBC Friday Evening Aussie Pairs from ‘What’s Occurring’ in second place and the ‘Seagulls’ in third place owing to the shot difference.
