Marina Alta schools in top 50 ranking

SPANISH University Access Test (‘Prueba de Acceso a la Universidad’, P.A.U.) results from public schools across the Communidad Valencia were recently published.

Students sit the access tests, consisting of common and specific subjects taken in ‘Bachillerato’ (the last two non-compulsory years of secondary education) over three days in June or September.

Marina Alta students performed particularly well, with four public schools ranking amongst the top 50 out of 454 across the Communidad Valencia.

IES Matematic Vicent Caselles in Gata came sixth, followed by IES Ifach in Calpe in 28th place.

IES Numero 3 in Denia continued its success from last year, coming 30th followed by IES Maria Ibars in 46th place.

IES Antoni LLido in Javea just missed out on a top 50 place, coming 88th.
