British jet skier injured after crashing into rocks

A 35-year-old British man was rescued from the Ambolo cove in Javea last Sunday after crashing his jet ski into the rocks.

The incident occurred in the afternoon as the Red Cross were alerted to the scene.

A rescue fleet attended and found the man with severe wounds on his arms and legs as well as pain in his ribs.

He received first-aid at the scene and was taken to the Granadella cove where he was met by an ambulance which took him to the health centre in Javea.

He was later transferred Hospital de Denia-MarinaSalud to recover.
