Ship ahoy!

Ship ahoy

WORKERS FROM the Costa del Sol maritime rescue service sprung into action after a semi-sunk boat which slipped from its mooring was spotted off Nerja’s Burriana Beach.

The two-man rowing boat, “O terror dos mares” (O terror of the two seas) was initially thought to be a shipwreck.  Following investigations, rescue workers, who are based in Caleta de Velez, realised it had simply come adrift and alerted its owners, who came to move it.
