Smoke inhalation victim hospitalised

A SIXTY-YEAR-OLD woman has been taken to the Hospital Virgen de la Victoria in Malaga to be treated for smoke inhalation after a house fire in Torremolinos.

The blaze, which took place on the sixth floor of a building in Calle La Colina, also caused damage to the woman’s property.  The source of the fire is as yet unknown.

Emergency workers rushed to the scene after receiving several calls at around 11.15am.  Firefighters, Local Police and National Police officers, as well as health workers, battled the flames and attended the woman.
