State employment to increase in Spain


FOLLOWING an agreement with trade unions in Spain, the central government has announced their plan to create 15,000 to 20,000 public sector jobs.  Around 7,000 positions will be created within the country’s Civil Service and the justice system will see an additional 3,360 jobs.

According to a report in El Mundo, the remaining 4,000 + jobs will be assigned to the tax authorities and social security departments.

The majority of the new jobs are due to in 2018 and 2019.
