The Urban Mile returns to Moraira

AVENIDA de La Paz in Moraira will play host to the 14th edition of ‘La Milla Urbana’ this Saturday from 6.30pm.

La Milla Urbana, translated to ‘The Urban Mile’ has been arranged by the Department of Sports in collaboration with Club Atletismo Corremundos and is made up of several races for all the family to enjoy.

Children’s races

‘Querubin’ 100 metres –  children born 2013 and 2014

‘Barrufet’ 200 metres – children born 2011 and 2012

‘Pre-benjamin’ 419 metres – children born 2009 and 2010

‘Benjamín’ 838 metres – children born 2007 and 2008

‘Alevin’ 1,257 metres – children born 2005 and 2006

‘Infantil’ 1,609 metres – children born 2003 and 2004

‘Cadete’ 1,609 metres – children born 2001 and 2002

‘Juvenil’ 1,609 metres – children born 1999 and 2000

Adult’s races

‘Senior mens’ 1,609 metres – men born 1983 to 1998

‘Senior womens’ 1,609 metres – women born 1983 to 1998

‘Veteranos A men’ 1,609 metres – men born 1973 to 1982

‘Vetaranas A women’ 1,609 metres – women born 1973 to 1982

‘Veteranos B men’ 1,609 metres – men born 1963 to 1972

‘Vetaranas B women’ 1,609 metres – women born 1963 to 1972

‘Veteranos C men’ 1,609 metres – men born in 1962 and earlier

‘Vetaranas C women’ 1,609 metres – women born in 1962 and earlier

Trophies will be awarded for first, second and third place in each adult’s race and medals will be given to all participating children.

The fastest three men and woman overall will also be awarded trophies.
