TOP three summer talc hacks
1. Say goodbye to stuck-on sand
Sprinkle talcum powder on areas where sand has stuck to you and wipe off. The sweat, oil and water that’s causing the sand to stick will be absorbed by the powder meaning the sand can be easily wiped off your skin.
2. No need for dry shampoo
If you have blonde hair, sprinkle some talcum powder underneath the top layer of hair at your roots to absorb excess oil. Gently brush through to evenly distribute the product and no-one will ever know.
3. Keeping it cool
On a hot summer’s night, sprinkle some talcum powder on your bed sheets before going to sleep and you’ll feel cool and dry all night long.
Don’t eat wheat!
(After sun exposure)
IF you spend enough time in the sun to cause sunburn, you have created competition within your body for Vitamin F (essential fatty acids).
Here’s what happens… your body uses Vitamin F to maintain skin health, but it also uses it to absorb nutrients from wheat. If you get sunburn, your body declares an emergency, using all its available Vitamin F to heal the sunburn, leaving nothing to handle foods containing wheat. The result is a wheat allergy.
How do you know if you are experiencing it? You’ll be tired (also caused by sweating out sodium and potassium), you may get a summer cold sore out of nowhere, or even get an ear infection specifically in the RIGHT ear (often mistaken for swimmer’s ear).
