Residents shaken by minor earthquake

LORCA: Tremor brings back unwanted memories.

RESIDENTS of Lorca were shaken again on Wednesday morning after a minor earthquake registering a magnitude of 2.2 degrees.

The tremor, just outside the city that suffered devastation caused by a 5.1 quake in 2011, happened as people made their way to work just after 9am.

According to information from the National Geographic Institute, four hours earlier, a 2.1 tremor was felt off the coast of Cabo de Palos close to La Manga.
