A FORTY-FOUR-YEAR-OLD Spanish man has been arrested in Malaga for driving without a licence, having false licence plates and carrying seven grams of cocaine.

Police have now arrested the man on suspicion of drug trafficking, crimes against road safety and document falsification after initially became suspicious of his “evasive” attitude after they stopped to help several people involved in a multi-car collision in the heart of the city.

On searching the man’s house, they found €25,960 in cash, 109 grams of hashish, 64,61 grams of marijuana, 27,24 grams of MDMA and 6,19 grams of cocaine, as well as scales and other drug paraphernalia.
