THE ‘Big Heart of Javea’ classic car and motorbike event is coming to the town again on Sunday September 17, promising to be ‘bigger and better’ than last year.
The event was a massive success last year and funds raised this year will again go to the local bomberos and the Red Cross to show appreciation for all their bravery and hard work fighting last year’s fires that swept through Javea and the surrounding areas.
The assembly point for this year’s motorbike parade ride is on Avingudadels Tamarits, opposite Restaurante Scallops.
Riders should meet at the assembly point at 10.30am, where they will be welcomed with a free breakfast bap and a cup of tea or coffee, courtest of Scallops.
The parade ride will then set off at 11.30am, with the route taking in the Arenal, passing the Parador de Javea, heading into the port and then back to the event area which will be located on Av. De Augusta (near the secondary school).
The event will include a display of classic cars, Harley Davidsons, classic scooters and other motorbikes.
There will be a BBQ, food and drinks, live music and much more – promising an enjoyable day out for all the family.
Gates will open from 9.00am.
